Terms and Conditions
1. Interpretation and Definitions
In these Terms:
a. Academic Page Ltd, we, us, or our means Academic Page Ltd and its employees, contractors, agents, and authorised representatives.
b. Client, shall mean you, your, any person, organisation, institution, or entity engaging our services.
c. Services means all service supplied by Academic Page Ltd to the Client
d. Quote shall mean any written estimate, proposal, quotation, invoice, fee schedule, or pricing document provided by us.
e. Working Day means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday in New Zealand.
2. Who We Are and How to Contact Us
a. Academic Page Ltd is a company incorporated in New Zealand.

c. Where we need to contact you, we will do so using the email address you provided when making a booking, submitting an enquiry, or placing an order.
3. Application and Acceptance of These Terms
a. These Terms apply to all services supplied by Academic Page Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.
b. By requesting, commissioning, purchasing, or accepting our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
c. Your order will be accepted when Academic Page Ltd sends you a confirmation following receipt of your payment. At that point, a contract for the agreed services will come into effect between you and Academic Page Ltd.
d. If Academic Page Ltd is unable to accept your order, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and refund any payment received for the affected order. This may occur where, for example, we identify an error in the service description or price, or we are unable to reasonably meet your requested timeframe.
e. These Terms and Conditions become binding upon acceptance by the Client and may only be amended or terminated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or with the prior written consent of Academic Page Ltd.
f. If this agreement is entered into by more than one Client, each Client is jointly and individually responsible for ensuring that all fees and other amounts payable under this agreement are paid in full.
g. Only written statements or agreements authorised by Academic Page Ltd are binding. Our employees, agents, or representatives are not authorised to make representations, promises, or agreements on behalf of the Company unless they have been approved in writing by an authorised representative of Academic Page Ltd.
4. Services Provided
a. Academic Page Ltd provides academic support services, image illustration and annotation review, academic consulting services, university applications review and support, and related professional services.
b. We do not complete examinations, assessments, dissertations, theses, assignments, or academic work on behalf of students were doing so would breach academic integrity policies.
c. Academic Consulting Services are advisory in nature and are intended to support independent learning and research activities.
d. Personal Statement Review and Feedback Services provide guidance, feedback, and recommendations only.
5. Fees, Quotations and Payment Terms
a. All fees shall be Academic Page Ltd’s current price as indicated on the quotation in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise specified.
b. Any changes to the agreed scope of work will incur additional charges. Where applicable, these charges will be quoted in advance, itemised on the invoice as extras, and are payable in full upon completion.
c. At Academic Page Ltd’s sole discretion, a deposit may be required before commencing work. Any required deposit will be specified when your order is confirmed. The deposit is due immediately upon acceptance of the quote and is non-refundable.
d. Full payment must be made by the due date stated on the invoice, quotation or any other form.
e. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments shall be made upon delivery of the services.
f. Payment shall be made by cash, credit card, bank transfer, or any other payment method agreed between Academic Page Ltd and the Client.
g. GST and any other applicable taxes shall be included in the quoted price. Where GST is included, this will be clearly stated in the quotation or invoice.
6. Delivery and Completion of Services
a. Delivery dates are estimates only.
b. We will use reasonable effort to complete services within agreed time frames.
c. Delays caused by incomplete instructions, late provision of materials, technical issues, or events beyond our control may extend delivery times.
d. Services are deemed completed when the agreed deliverables are provided to the Client.
e. Delivery shall be made to the Client’s electronic address, which may include but not limited to an email address.
7. Review and Approval Process
a. Clients are responsible for reviewing the accuracy of all deliverables promptly upon receipt. Academic Page Ltd is not liable for any errors or omissions that are not identified and communicated by the client during the final review and approval process.
b. Additional work requested beyond the agreed scope shall incur extra charges.
c. Academic Page Ltd is not responsible for any errors or omissions that were present in the proof approved by the Client. The Client accepts full responsibility for approving the final proof, and Academic Page Ltd will not be liable for any loss, damage, or consequences arising from the Client's approval.
8. Non-Payment and Remedies
a. Academic Page Ltd reserves the right to suspend or withhold services where payment is overdue.
b. Payment must be made in accordance with the payment terms provided at the time of booking or ordering the service.
c. If a payment becomes overdue, we will remind the Client that payment is outstanding and request that it be paid. If the outstanding amount remains unpaid for 14 days after our reminder, we may withhold or suspend further services until the outstanding payment has been received.
9. Cancellation and Termination of Services
a. Academic Page Ltd reserves the right to cancel these Terms of Service or discontinue the provision of Services before work commences or before delivery of the completed Services by providing written notice to the Client.
b. Where payment has already been received and the cancellation is initiated by Academic Page Ltd, any refundable amounts paid by the Client for the affected Services will be returned promptly.
c. Academic Page Ltd shall not be responsible for any indirect loss, inconvenience, or costs arising from a cancellation where such cancellation is made in accordance with these Terms of Service and applicable New Zealand law.
d. Client may request cancellation of a service before completion. Where a cancellation request is accepted, the Client remains responsible for any reasonable costs incurred by Academic Page Ltd up to the date of cancellation, including any work completed, resources used, or services already provided.
e. Any applicable refund or outstanding payment obligations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the agreed service terms and applicable New Zealand consumer protection requirements.
10. Privacy Act 2020
a. Academic Page Ltd complies with the Privacy Act 2020.
b. Personal information collected from Clients will only be used for purposes related to providing services, communicating with Clients, processing payments, and complying with legal obligations.
c. Clients may request access to or correction of their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
d. We will take reasonable steps to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse.
11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
a. The Client acknowledges that they have relied on their own judgement when deciding to engage Academic Page Ltd's services. To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Academic Page Ltd is not liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from information or representations not expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions or agreed in writing.
12. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
b. These Terms are subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable. However, where you acquire our services for business purposes, and this is permitted by law, the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 will not apply.
13. Service Concerns
If the Client believes a service has not been delivered in accordance with the agreed scope, the Client must notify us in writing within five (5) working days.
14. Our Commitments and Responsibilities
a. We will commence the agreed services on the date confirmed with you during the order process. Unless otherwise agreed, the estimated completion date will be the date selected or confirmed when your order is placed.
b. If we are unable to provide the services as agreed because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will notify you as soon as possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the impact of the delay. Where such circumstances cause a delay, we will not be responsible for any losses or damages to the Client.
c. To provide the services effectively, Academic Page Ltd will require information or materials from the Client from time to time.
d. Academic Page Ltd will advise you of the information or materials required. The Client is responsible for providing complete, accurate and suitable information within a reasonable timeframe. Where a Client is unable to meet the agreed timeframe or schedule, they must notify Academic Page Ltd as soon as reasonably practicable.
e. If the Client fail to provide the required information or materials, or provide incomplete or inaccurate information, they accept that service may be completed after the agreed timeframe. Where this occurs, any additional costs resulting from the delay will be borne by the Client.
f. Note that: Academic Page Ltd provides ethical academic guidance and learning support only, and does not write assessed work or engage in any form of academic misconduct. Academic Page Ltd will only use materials and ideas prepared and supplied by the Client.
15. Intellectual Property
a. Subject to payment of all fees, Clients retain ownership of materials originally supplied by them.
b. Academic Page Ltd retains ownership of all templates, methodologies, tools, processes, training materials, illustrations, and proprietary content developed by us.
c. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, no intellectual property rights are transferred to the Client.
d. Academic Page Ltd is committed to upholding intellectual property rights and the principles of academic integrity. We do not support plagiarism, copyright infringement, or any form of academic misconduct. Clients are responsible for ensuring that all work submitted complies with the academic integrity requirements of their institution. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate our services where we reasonably believe they may be used for dishonest, unlawful, or unethical purposes.
16. Branding and Use of Our Name
a. Clients must not use Academic Page Ltd's name, logo, branding, testimonials, or reputation in any publication, advertisement, website, social media post, or other promotional material without our prior written consent. Any approval for such use is granted solely at the discretion of Academic Page Ltd.
b. Academic Page Ltd may refer to completed projects in general terms for marketing purposes unless confidentiality obligations prevent such disclosure.
17. Confidentiality
a. Each party shall keep confidential all non-public information obtained from the other party.
b. Confidential information shall not be disclosed to third parties except:
With consent;
Where required by law;
To professional advisers bound by confidentiality obligations.
c. This obligation survives termination of these Terms.
18. Force Majeure
a. Academic Page Ltd shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:
Natural disasters (e.g., earth quake, flood, storm, hurricane, and tsunami);
Death;
Pandemics;
Terrorism and war;
Lock out;
Industrial action;
Other events beyond our reasonable control.
d. Any affected obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the event.
19. General Provisions
a. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
b. Failure by either party to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
c. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the services supplied.
d. Academic Page Ltd may amend these Terms from time to time by publishing updated Terms on its website or providing notice to Clients.
e. These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
